Anna Nelson

Anna Nelson is the General Manager of Husk Nashville, Tennessee’s outpost of The Neighborhood Dining Group’s famed Southern restaurant, where she oversees all aspects of the daily happenings, while nurturing an internal culture of positivity and authenticity. Anna strives to lead a team of excellence, ensuring each guest has a genuine and memorable dining experience.

Anna has been a part of the Nashville scene since 2005 when she moved to Music City to pursue a career in the music industry. After signing a record deal with Red Bull Records, she toured the country with acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins and Twenty One Pilots.

While touring, restaurants were always Anna’s home away from the road. She trained in fine dining establishments, gaining extensive food and wine knowledge and learning the importance of the guest experience. These ventures began to mold a newfound passion for the service industry, that she would later decide to follow.

After her long stint in music, Anna decided to finally pursue a more committed career in hospitality, leading to a position as manager at Husk Nashville in 2021. After hard work and growth within the company, she was passed the torch as General Manager in the summer of 2024.

In her role as GM, Anna still likes to think of herself as the frontwoman, only on a different kind of stage. She is committed to leading her team with passion, while inspiring an honorable culture of accountability, approachability, and respect.
